Baked Apple Ring Donuts
Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 2 heaping tablespoons almond meal
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon coconut sugar
- 1.5 tablespoons melted coconut oil
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Peel, core, and slice the apple into rings
Combine the cinnamon and sugar with almond meal in a shallow dish.
Dip the apple slices in melted coconut oil and then dredge through almond meal mixture, making sure both sides are covered.
Place slices on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and set in middle of oven.
After 20 minutes, flip slices and bake an additional 20 minutes more.
