• Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • - Line a baking tray with parchment paper (or don’t)
  • - Cut 2 slices of bread into equal little squares (I used sprouted whole grain bread bc that’s what I had)
  • - In a bowl, mix some oil (see notes below for NO-OIL RECIPE) with a little garlic powder, salt, onion powder, minced garlic, and toss the bread in, coating equally
  • - Bake for 5 minutes, FLIP each crouton to prevent burning, bake for 3 more minutes (Times will vary by oven. So check, and adapt, as you please.)
  • Notes: For no oil, omit the oil and use aquafaba (liquid from chickpea can, AKA water from the chickpeas being cooked). It will help bind the seasonings to the bread. Aquafaba is often used for its egg white mimicking properties
