Doughnuts

Ingredients

  • 200g plain flour
  • 50g dark brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pinch of bicarbonate of soda
  • 50ml rapeseed oil
  • 220ml plant milk
  • sugar and cinnamon for coating the baked doughnuts

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C and grease a doughnut pan

  2. Measure all the dry ingredients into a bowl and stir well. Add the oil and milk and mix until smooth

  3. Spoon into the doughnut moulds and bake for 10 minutes. I got 9 doughnuts out of the mixture

  4. Remove from the tin and dip immediately into a bowl of sugar with a little cinnamon mixed in. Leave to cool on a wire rack or eat warm
