Filled Protein Oat Cups
Ingredients
- For the oat cups:
- - 70g cut oats
- - 60g soya flakes
- - 30g protein powder (e.g vanilla)
- - 150g apple sauce
- - 30g syrup (e.g maple or fiber)
- For the filling:
- - 150g soy yogurt
- - 20g protein powder (e.g strawberry)
- - 6g agar agar
- - 50ml water .
Preparation
Preheat oven to 175C (350F)
Mix the oats, the soya flakes and the protein powder
Then add the apple sauce and the syrup and stir until thick and sticky.
Take a muffin tray and spray a non stick spray on 6 cups
Wet your hands and press some of the mixture into the tray forming cups
Bake for 15 mins (or longer) until they are not sticky anymore and you can pull them out easily
Mix the ingredients for the filling in a pan and bring them to a boil
Right when the bubbles are visible, turn the heat down and let it simmer for 1 minute.
Take of the stove and pour it into the cups equally.
Let the cups rest in the fridge for a few hours until you can touch the filling without it sticking on your fingers?
