Iron-Packed Meatballs for Babies and Adults
Ingredients
Beef meatballs
- 500g beef mince
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp dried herbs such as marjoram or rosemary or oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules or 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 egg
Lentil meatballs
- 250g cooked Puy lentils
- 1 onion
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules or 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp breadcrumbs
Preparation
Sautee the onion in the oil.
Add all ingredients together in a bowl and mix.
Shape the mixture into small balls.
Bake in the oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
For lentil meatballs, pair with a vitamin C rich food such as roasted peppers, broccoli, or a homemade tomato sauce, or serve with strawberries or kiwi fruit.
