Roasted Almonds with Chocolate

Ingredients

  • Almonds
  • 3/4 cup Hu Kitchen chocolate chunks
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Optional additions

  • Maple syrup (to taste)
  • Pretzels
  • Chia seeds
  • Toasted coconut flakes
  • Flaky salt

Preparation

  1. Roast almonds in a 350°F oven for 13 minutes.

  2. Let them cool.

  3. Place the cooled almonds on a baking sheet, creating small mounds of 6-8 almonds each.

  4. Melt 3/4 cup Hu Kitchen chocolate chunks with 1 teaspoon coconut oil, and add maple syrup if desired.

  5. Spoon the melted chocolate carefully and slowly over the almond mounds.

  6. Top with desired additions such as pretzels, chia seeds, toasted coconut flakes, and flaky salt.

  7. Place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to set.
