Easy Tomato Sauce with White Beans and Broccoli
Ingredients
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- a bit of olive oil
- 200 ml water
- a lot of tomato purée
- 1 can large white beans
- salt
- pepper
- chili
- oregano
- rosemary
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- broccoli
- rice
- mushrooms
- balsamic vinegar
Preparation
Cut the onion and garlic into small pieces and fry them in a non-stick pan with a bit of olive oil.
Deglaze the pan with 200 ml water and a lot of tomato purée to make a nice thick mixture.
Add a can of large white beans and let it simmer.
Add salt, pepper, chili, oregano, rosemary, one tablespoon soy sauce, and one tablespoon maple syrup.
Stir everything well and serve with steamed broccoli, rice, and mushrooms fried with balsamic vinegar.
