Gongura Rice
Ingredients
- rice
- cumin
- mustard seeds
- peanuts
- chana dal
- red chillies
- green chillies
- gongura
Preparation
Step 1:- Finely chop Sorrel leafs/gongura and set aside
Step 2:- Boil the rice and set aside
Step 3:- Heat a kadai or skillet and add on some oil n splutter cumin n mustard seeds, later add on some fits full of peanuts , 1 tbs of chana dal,1 tbs of urad dal and few red chillies and saute for couple of mins and later add green chillies
Step 4:- Add chopped and washed gongura, cook until all water evaporates
Step 5:- Add on some turmeric powder and cook for 5-6 mins and nice aroma starts coming out
Step 6:- Add boiled rice and salt mix well until everything is coated well that's all simple and quick Gongura rice is ready
