Indian Cottage Cheese/ Paneer

Ingredients

  • Soak around 10 cashews, 1/4 cup watermelon seeds and 4 tsp poppy seeds in warm water
  • Chop 2 big onions into thin slices. Take some ghee in a wok, let it heat and add 2 tsp of chopped garlic, onions
  • Cook it till they are golden brown
  • Add 1 capsicum chopped into medium size and cook for further 5-7 minutes
  • Take 3 tomatoes and grind it along with soaked cashews and seeds
  • Add the puree into the wok and cook it for further 15 min. Keep stiring continuously
  • Now add salt, turmeric powder red chilli powder , good garam masala, kasturi methi and milk to adjust the consistency
  • Cook it for 10-15 min at low flame till all the ingredients are mixed together. Add handful of fresh corriander leaves
  • I also added very little kitchen king Masala at the end and covered the wok for 5 min. Serve hot with your choice of bread
