Pantry Staples Carrot Cake Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1.5 cups milk (i just used water)
  • 1 small carrot, grated or chopped
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Grate or chop your carrot into small pieces

  2. I recommended grating it if you can but I don't have a grater so I just chopped them lol make sure you chop them small enough, otherwise you're in for a crunchy treat! add all your ingredients except the collagen/protein powder into a small pot over medium heat

  3. Cook for 3-5 mins or until most of the liquid is absorbed

  4. Turn off the heat and mix in your protein powder

  5. Top with anything that you have and enjoy! I topped my bowl with coconut chips, granola, freeze dried blueberries (obsessed with these lately!!), a spoon of peanut butter, and a sprinkle of hemp seeds

  6. These are just what I have in pantry, so just use what you have :)
