Pantry Staples Carrot Cake Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 1.5 cups milk (i just used water)
- 1 small carrot, grated or chopped
- 1 tbs chia seeds
- 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen
- 1 scoop vanilla protein
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- pinch of salt
Preparation
Grate or chop your carrot into small pieces
I recommended grating it if you can but I don't have a grater so I just chopped them lol make sure you chop them small enough, otherwise you're in for a crunchy treat! add all your ingredients except the collagen/protein powder into a small pot over medium heat
Cook for 3-5 mins or until most of the liquid is absorbed
Turn off the heat and mix in your protein powder
Top with anything that you have and enjoy! I topped my bowl with coconut chips, granola, freeze dried blueberries (obsessed with these lately!!), a spoon of peanut butter, and a sprinkle of hemp seeds
