Strawberry jam

Ingredients

  • 1kg strawberries⁣
  • zest of 1 lemon⁣
  • juice of 1/2 lemon⁣
  • 500g plantbased fruit jam sugar⁣⁣

Preparation

  1. Wash the strawberries and chop into pieces⁣

  2. Wash the lemon in hot water⁣

  3. Rasp the skin in tiny pieces and press out the juice⁣

  4. Add everything to a pot and let it sit for an hour⁣

  5. Bring to a boil, take away the foam from the top⁣

  6. Cook for about twenty minutes⁣

  7. Do a jam test: Add a spoon full of jam to a plate and wait for about two minutes, if it thickens⁣up your jam should be ready, if it doesn’t, keep cooking⁣

  8. Place to very clean jam glasses and close them⁣

  9. In cool and dark places the jam will last for two years⁣
