Vegan Spicy Cashew Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup plant based milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

Preparation

  1. Soak the cashews for 1-2 hours if using a high-speed blender, or for at least 4 hours or overnight if using a regular blender or food processor. Alternatively, boil them for 15 minutes.

  2. Drain and rinse the cashews.

  3. Transfer the cashews to a blender or food processor along with the plant-based milk, garlic cloves, tamari, paprika, cumin, and nutritional yeast.

  4. Blend until very smooth and creamy.

  5. Serve however you want and enjoy.
