Dalgona Coffee with Mocha Jelly

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp sugar of choice (works great with coconut sugar too)
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • using a stand machine or a hand whisk, whisk for 3-5 minutes, until creamy and fluffy! done!
  • serve over cold or warm milk of choice
  • for the mocha jelly
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp coconut syrup or other sweetener
  • 1 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 1 tsp agar powder

Preparation

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a sauce pan and heat over medium high. Simmer for a couple of minutes, then pour over a cold sheet pan (20x12 cm) and set aside to cool completely. Once cold, cut into 2cm pieces or into small balls using a fruit cutter

  2. To serve: place some mocha jelly into jars or glasses, then pour some cold or hot milk over the jelly and add a dollop of whipped coffee. You can also add some chocolate granola
