Pho Pizza
Ingredients
- for tempeh
- 4 oz of tempeh
- 1 tbs of olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp of fresh squeezed lime juice 1 tsp of chili powder
- 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp of pink himalayan salt
- 1/8 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
- for the crust
- 2 flax egg
- 5 oz of rice noodles
- for the sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/8 cup of chopped green onion
- 1/8 cup of soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp of pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp of maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of hosing sauce
- toppings
- sliced red onion
- fresh thai basil
- bean sprouts
- sliced jalapeño
- sliced green onion
Preparation
In a medium sized bowl combine all ingredients for tempeh
Stir well occasionally
After a few minutes cook on medium heat in a small pan for 3 minutes each side
Set aside when finished
Bring water to a boil and cook noodles for 4 minutes drain and mix with flax eggs
Preheat oven to 350°
On a greased baking sheet add noodles and form crust
Place crust in oven for 20 minutes
Combine first 5 ingredients for sauce into a pestle and mortar
Grind until sauce forms and add hosin sauce
Stir well and set aside
Once time is up remove from oven and add sauce along with toppings
Serve and enjoy(note:this is not like typical pizza we suggest to slice and enjoy in a bowl) ???? #threebunnies
