Avocado & Mushroom Toast

Ingredients

  • oil
  • 2 cups of sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • black pepper
  • chili flakes
  • and herbs of your choice
  • avocado
  • lemon juice
  • salt
  • and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a skillet, heat 2 tsp of oil and add 2 cups of sliced mushrooms

  2. Add in 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, then cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes, or until mushrooms are caramelized

  3. Season with black pepper, chili flakes, and herbs of your choice

  4. Meanwhile, mash an avocado in a bowl and season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste

  5. Serve with toasted bread and enjoy
