Bagel Seasoning
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. white sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp. black sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp. poppy seeds
- 2 tbsp. dried minced garlic
- 2 tbsp. dried minced onion
Preparation
Add white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, and onion to a small jar; place lid on jar
Shake to combine
Store in a cool dry place for up to 6 months
Store-bought seasoning blends can contain a lot of salt — this recipe lets you make the same delicious topping for bagels, vegetables, eggs, and more without the added sodium
If you like a little salt, ilana recommends adding up to 1 tsp
Of good flaked sea salt or kosher salt
