Introducing Eggs

Ingredients

  • Boiled eggs, sliced
  • Boiled eggs, mashed (can add expressed breast milk or formula) ?Omelette, sliced

Preparation

  1. Introduce in the morning so that you can observe your baby for any possible reactions

  2. Introduce a very small amount at first (1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon). 3️⃣Introduce hard boiled or very well cooked egg at first. The egg protein is less allergenic when baked in the oven, than when raw or loosely cooked

  3. Once introduced, keep offering eggs around twice per week to maintain tolerance
