Sugar Cookies W Matcha & Spirulina Icing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups gf flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2tbsp non dairy milk - i used oat
  • icing:
  • icing sugar
  • matcha
  • spirulina
  • oat milk

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to to 350f

  2. Mix sugar and butter together then add vanilla

  3. Add flour and baking soda

  4. Mix till it forms a ball add milk

  5. Mix till all combined then coat surface with flour and start to roll your dough out to a 1-2” thickness

  6. Use a cookie cutter and cut out your cookies place on a baking sheet w a non stick silicon mat

  7. Bake for 10 minutes

  8. Make the icing by getting multiple bowls and adding 1 cup icing sugar in each

  9. Add 1tsp matcha in one bowl, 1/4 tsp of blue spirulina in one bowl, and 1/2 tsp is blue matcha in another bowl, leave one bowl white

  10. Add 1 tbsp oat milk to each bowl and mix well till it’s clump free

  11. The blue bowls should be a dark blue and then a lighter blue

  12. Once cookies are done baking let them cool off 100% before adding the icing! i didn’t decorate them the best lol it’s so hard and idk thought it would be easier but it’s fun and that’s the point, have fun decorating them! and eating them because so yummy ??
