My Great Grandma’s 1930s Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 c distilled water
  • 1.5 c or 90 grain vinegar not 50 grain
  • 6 t sugar
  • 6t pickling salt

Preparation

  1. Stir until dissolved

  2. Add sliced cucumbers, onions, garlic, dill, or jalaleno, and any other herbs you’d like

  3. I have a great pickling spice with mustard seeds and dill and celery

  4. Store in a dark place for 3 days, then refrigerate
