My Great Grandma’s 1930s Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 c distilled water
- 1.5 c or 90 grain vinegar not 50 grain
- 6 t sugar
- 6t pickling salt
Preparation
Stir until dissolved
Add sliced cucumbers, onions, garlic, dill, or jalaleno, and any other herbs you’d like
I have a great pickling spice with mustard seeds and dill and celery
Store in a dark place for 3 days, then refrigerate
