Granola

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs of tahini
  • 2 tbs melted coconut oil
  • 2 tbs maple syrup
  • 1 tbs cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp all spice and pinch if pink salt
  • rolled oats
  • chopped almonds
  • pepitas and dried apricot

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl mix together around 2 tbs of tahini, 2 tbs melted coconut oil, 2 tbs maple syrup, 1 tbs cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp all spice and pinch if pink salt. Stir to mix

  2. In a large bowl add granola ingredients. I did rolled oats, chopped almonds, pepitas and dried apricot

  3. Stir in wet ingredients until granola is thinly coated. I make a huge amount of granola so if you’re wanting to make a smaller amount you won’t need as much of the wet ingredients

  4. Bake in the oven at 180°c for around 25 minutes or until nicely golden. Give the granola a stir about half way through cooking. -

  5. This will last in an airtight container in the cupboard for around 2 weeks
