Glorious Smoked Haddock & Broccoli Bake
Ingredients
- 300g @alfredenderby smoked haddock
- half a head of broccoli
- 225ml double cream
- 1 teaspoon english mustard
- 50g grated cheddar
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Cut your broccoli into florets, parboil for 1 minute and drain well
Turn your oven on to 190 degrees c to preheat
Cut your haddock into large bite sized chunks and place them evenly around the bottom of your ovenproof dish
Then place your broccoli florets around the pieces of fish
Add the mustard to your double cream and mix well
Season the cream mixture with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of black pepper
Pour the cream mixture over the haddock and broccoli and sprinkle the grated cheddar over the top
Pop in the oven for 20mins on 190 degrees c
The haddock should be perfectly cooked and the broccoli still slightly al dente
If the top isn’t as brown as you like, just pop the dish under a hot grill for 1 minute
