Satay Tofu with Sweet Chilli Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 block of tofu
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of Tamari sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of chilli

Sweet chilli sauce

  • 4 teaspoons of maple syrup
  • 4 teaspoons of tamari sauce
  • 4 teaspoons of balsamic
  • 1 teaspoon of chilli oil

Preparation

  1. In a bowl place the maple syrup, tamari sauce, peanut butter, garlic, parsley and chilli and combine.

  2. Place the tofu and coat well. Marinate for 30 minutes.

  3. On a tray with parchment paper place the marinated tofu. Bake at 180 for 30 minutes turning the tofu half way.

  4. Serve with a sweet chilli sauce.
