Delicious Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats (gluten free if necessary)
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tbsp cold water (if necessary)
  • for the cream:
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or more to taste)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Place oats and almonds in a food processor

  2. Process until rough flour consistency

  3. Add the rest of the crust ingredients (besides water) and blend until the dough is formed

  4. Add cold water spoon by spoon if needed to make the dough come together

  5. Divide dough in 3 parts and press into tartlet molds

  6. Bake in the oven preheated to 180c for about 12 minutes or until the edges are brown and crispy

  7. Let cool completely

  8. Prepare the cream by blending all the ingredients until smooth and creamy

  9. Taste and add more sweetener if needed

  10. Fill the tartlets with chocolate cream, decorate with whatever topping you like!
