Crispy Spinach Chips Easy Snack
Ingredients
- Chickpea flour- 1 cup
- Rice flour - 1/4 cup
- Spinach leaves- 20 medium size or upto you
- Salt according to your taste
- Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
- Mango powder- 1tsp
- Any seasoning you can add
- Olive oil for frying
- Water - 1 1/2 cup but may vary
Preparation
Mix chickpea flour, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder, mango powder, and any seasoning in a bowl.
Add water gradually to the mixture to achieve a batter consistency where the batter sticks to the spinach leaves, ensuring it's not too thick or runny.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan.
Dip each spinach leaf into the batter, ensuring it's fully coated.
Fry the coated spinach leaves in the hot oil until crispy.
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Serve immediately as a crunchy snack.
Alternative method
For a healthier version, you can bake the coated spinach leaves in an oven or air fryer instead of frying.
If you prefer not to use chickpea flour, cornstarch can be used as an alternative for the batter.
