Halloumi Popcorn Nuggets with Crispy Salad
- 2 packs low fat Halloumi
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
- 2-4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
Heat 2 Tbsp olive oil in a frying pan.
Slice the Halloumi into small popcorn-sized cubes.
Coat the Halloumi cubes evenly in oat flour.
Beat the eggs with paprika.
Dip the floured Halloumi nuggets into the egg mixture.
Coat them in gluten-free breadcrumbs.
Shallow fry the coated Halloumi nuggets until they are golden brown.
Repeat the process for a second batch.
Serve the Halloumi popcorn nuggets with your preferred sauce. (Sriracha Mayo is recommended.)
