Halloumi Popcorn Nuggets with Crispy Salad


  • 2 packs low fat Halloumi
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 2-4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder


  1. Heat 2 Tbsp olive oil in a frying pan.

  2. Slice the Halloumi into small popcorn-sized cubes.

  3. Coat the Halloumi cubes evenly in oat flour.

  4. Beat the eggs with paprika.

  5. Dip the floured Halloumi nuggets into the egg mixture.

  6. Coat them in gluten-free breadcrumbs.

  7. Shallow fry the coated Halloumi nuggets until they are golden brown.

  8. Repeat the process for a second batch.

  9. Serve the Halloumi popcorn nuggets with your preferred sauce. (Sriracha Mayo is recommended.)
