Lavender Infused Honey

Ingredients

  • raw local honey
  • culinary grade lavender
  • 8 ounce mason jar

Preparation

  1. Roughly chop lavender buds to release flavor

  2. Pour 1 tablespoon of lavender in a clean mason jar

  3. Pour honeyon top and seal and let sit for two weeks

  4. After two weeks, use a muslin cloth or cheesecloth to strain out the lavender

  5. Pour into a cute honeypot like this one and enjoy in tea or on toast
