Lavender Infused Honey
Ingredients
- raw local honey
- culinary grade lavender
- 8 ounce mason jar
Preparation
Roughly chop lavender buds to release flavor
Pour 1 tablespoon of lavender in a clean mason jar
Pour honeyon top and seal and let sit for two weeks
After two weeks, use a muslin cloth or cheesecloth to strain out the lavender
Pour into a cute honeypot like this one and enjoy in tea or on toast
