Salted Caramel and Baobab Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of @afyauk baobab powder
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup of @pipandnut almond butter
  • 1/4 cup of @sunitafinefoods dark tahini
  • all whisked together until really smooth and well combined.
  • in a different bowl:
  • 1 cup of @flahavansuk oats
  • 1 cup of @bionaorganic amaranth pops
  • 4 tbs of pumpkin seeds
  • 4 tbs of hemp seeds
  • 1/3 cup of @thetigernutcompany tiger nuts flour
  • pinch of @steenbergsltd himalayan salt
  • 1/2 cup of toasted hazelnuts
  • then left to cool for few hours before slicing.

Preparation

  1. All mixed together and then combined and mixed with the tahini mixture before pressed evenly over a tray lined with baking sheet

  2. Then left to cool for few hours before slicing

  3. They will last for a week or so and are a great nutritious addition to lunchboxes, if I may say so
