Turmeric and Ginger Immune Boosters

Ingredients

Orange tonic

  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine black pepper powder

Golden chocolate paste

  • 1 heaping teaspoon manuka honey (roughly 1/2 tablespoon)
  • 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine black pepper powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon powder

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients for the Orange Tonic together and consume.

  2. Combine all ingredients for the Golden Chocolate Paste to form a mixture and use as needed.

Tips

  1. Add lemon juice to the Orange Tonic if desired and adjust spice amounts to personal taste.

  2. Vary the spice quantities in the Golden Chocolate Paste based on tolerance.

  3. Turmeric absorption is enhanced by black pepper; a 1:1 ratio is recommended here.
