Homemade Vegetable Fried Rice with Char Sui Pork Slice Topper

Ingredients

  • 600g pork shoulder, fat removed and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp runny honey
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp chinese five spice
  • 1 tsp cornflour

Preparation

  1. Mix the pork with all the other ingredients and put in the fridge to marinate for an hour or more

  2. In a few batches, sear the pork in a dry non stick wok on the highest heat for a couple of minutes each side
