Chicken Jalfrez

Ingredients

  • x2 tsp turmeric
  • x2 tsp garam masala
  • x2 tsp cumin
  • x2 tsp ground coriander
  • x1 green chilli
  • x1 onion
  • x1 red pepper
  • x1 green pepper
  • long grain rice
  • 4. in a smaller pan fry the chicken and the peppers

Preparation

  1. Coat the chopped Chicken in x1 tsp each of the x4 spices and leave in the fridge whilst you prep the rest

  2. Fry the Onions, Garlic and Green Chilli in vegetable oil then add 200ml Water and whizz in the processor

  3. Add the remaining x4 spices to the hot pan with the Passata

  4. In a smaller pan fry the Chicken and the peppers

  5. Throw the chicken into the Tomato mixture along with the whizzed up sauce and bring to the boil
