Happy Meal Prep Monday
Ingredients
- corn starch
- nutritional yeast
- Himalayan salt
- and garlic powder
- Air fry tofu
- heat oil
- minced garlic
- ginger
- vegetable broth
- soy sauce
- ketchup
- maple syrup
Preparation
Press tofu for a few minutes. Cut into cubes. Toss in a bowl with corn starch, nutritional yeast, Himalayan salt, and garlic powder
Air fry tofu for 10 mins @400F. Shake. Fry for another 5-10mins
While tofu is frying, heat oil on a skillet. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and heat for 2mins
Add vegetable broth, soy sauce, ketchup, maple syrup. Stir and allow to simmer to thicken. *I don’t really measure this out but I’d say about a cup of broth and 1-2tbsps of everything else
Once the tofu is finished, add to the sauce
Turn off the heat and fold tofu into the sauce to coat
