Three Bean & Hempe Chili

Ingredients

  • 1/2 small a medium Onion
  • Can of Black Beans
  • Can of Cannellini Beans
  • Can of Kidney Beans
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tsp of Liquid Aminos
  • 2 tsp of Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp of Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp of Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp of Smoked Paprika
  • 1 large Bay Leaf
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp of Cajun Seasoning

Preparation

  1. Sautée the @hempeplantprotein with a bit of cumin, Cajun Seasoning and Liquid Aminos until browned and set aside

  2. Sauté the Onion and once translucent add the Beans, Spices and Diced Tomatoes

  3. Add in the Tomato Sauce and Bay Leaf and let simmer for about 20 minutes on med - low heat

  4. Add the cooked @hempeplantprotein and mix well and let simmer another 10 minutes before serving
