Calamari & Beansprout Stir Fry


  • some oil
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic
  • raw Calamari
  • beansprouts
  • soy sauce
  • sweet pointed red pepper
  • chopped coriander


  1. In a wok heat some oil.

  2. Add crushed sesame seeds.

  3. Add 1 crushed clove of garlic, use a pestle to do this quickly.

  4. Add the raw Calamari and fry for 1 minute.

  5. Add the beansprouts and sprinkle a good dose of soy sauce all over the ingredients (light or dark, whatever you have to hand).

  6. Add one sliced sweet pointed red pepper (these are slightly fiery).

  7. Cook for a further few minutes.

  8. I like a lot of the moisture to evaporate before I stop cooking.

  9. Lastly add some chopped coriander and remove from the heat
