Easy Pickled Turmeric Root

Ingredients

  • Fresh turmeric root
  • Fresh lemon juice (enough to cover)
  • Himalayan sea salt (a pinch)
  • Black peppercorns (crushed, some)

Preparation

  1. Wash, peel, and slice the turmeric root.

  2. Place it in a jar.

  3. Add enough fresh lemon juice to cover the root.

  4. Add a pinch of Himalayan sea salt and some crushed black peppercorns.
