Healthy Black and Blue Margarita Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz. lime juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh or slightly thawed frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh or slightly thawed frozen blackberries
  • Frozen packet of Sambazon sugar-free acai or 1 tsp acai powder
  • 1/2 tsp maqui powder
  • 1/2 oz. agave nectar
  • 1/2 oz. Chambord
  • 1 1/2 oz. good silver tequila
  • Optional: squeeze of blood orange or clementine juice
  • Optional: tart cherry extract or pomegranate juice for more liquid

Preparation

  1. For a mocktail version, omit the alcohol (tequila and Chambord).

  2. Mix all ingredients well in a blender with ice.

  3. Add optional blood orange, clementine, tart cherry extract, or pomegranate juice if desired for flavor or consistency.

  4. Use a frozen acai packet or acai powder as specified for best results.
