Soft and Sugary Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of cane sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of aluminum free baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/2 cup of vegan spread
- 1/3 cup of coconut oil
Preparation
Combine all dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and stir well.
Add wet ingredients to the same bowl and stir until dough starts to form.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a cookie sheet on a baking pan.
On a small plate or bowl, sprinkle equal parts cinnamon and sugar, take small pieces of dough and form into a small ball.
Roll ball onto plate until completely coated, place onto baking sheet and repeat process until finished.
Grab a fork and press down gently on dough balls and then press down the other way to form a checkerboard-like pattern.
Place in oven for about 10 minutes then remove and allow to cool for 5 minutes and enjoy.
