Homemade Vegan Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

Dough

  • 3 cups (375g) All Purpose Flour*
  • 1 Tbsp Instant Yeast
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbsp (45g) Vegan Butter
  • 1 cup (240ml) Soy Milk

Filling

  • 1/4 cup (56g) Vegan Butter (Melted)
  • 3/4 cup (150g) Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon

Brushing

  • 2 Tbsp (30g) Vegan Butter

Frosting

  • 1 cup (120g) Powdered Sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 Tbsp Soy Milk

Preparation

  1. Combine the dry ingredients for the dough in a large bowl.

  2. Mix in the vegan butter and soy milk to form a dough and knead until smooth.

  3. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

  4. Prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar and cinnamon together.

  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with melted vegan butter from the filling ingredients.

  6. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the dough and roll up tightly.

  7. Cut the rolled dough into individual rolls and place in a greased baking pan.

  8. Let the rolls rise again until puffy.

  9. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.

  10. Meanwhile, prepare the frosting by whisking together powdered sugar and soy milk.

  11. Brush the baked rolls with vegan butter if desired.

  12. Drizzle the frosting over the warm rolls and serve.
