Traditional Italian Saffron Risotto
Ingredients
- Onion
- Rice
- White wine
- Broth
- Saffron
- Butter
- Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Sauté the onion until it becomes soft.
Toast the rice for about three minutes.
Deglaze with a bit of white wine.
Add broth to completely cover the rice grains and remember to stir frequently.
Continue adding broth until the rice is cooked.
Add the saffron, a knob of butter, and a good amount of parmesan.
