Traditional Italian Saffron Risotto

Ingredients

  • Onion
  • Rice
  • White wine
  • Broth
  • Saffron
  • Butter
  • Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  1. Sauté the onion until it becomes soft.

  2. Toast the rice for about three minutes.

  3. Deglaze with a bit of white wine.

  4. Add broth to completely cover the rice grains and remember to stir frequently.

  5. Continue adding broth until the rice is cooked.

  6. Add the saffron, a knob of butter, and a good amount of parmesan.
