Crispy Baked Buffalo Cauliflower Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup oat flour (or whole wheat)
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup dairy-free milk (used coconut)
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • salt and pepper
  • buffalo sauce of choice

Preparation

  1. Combine all dry ingredients and add milk to make a batter.

  2. Chop cauliflower into bite-sized pieces and coat fully in the batter.

  3. Place on a sprayed baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.

  4. Remove cauliflower from oven and coat in buffalo sauce.

  5. Spray with olive oil for extra crispiness, then bake for another 5 minutes.

Serving ideas

  1. Serve over arugula with cucumbers, celery, carrots, and a homemade tahini dill dressing.
