Refreshing Immunity Boost Shots
Ingredients
- 2 oranges (480g)
- 1 lemon (85g)
- 2 carrots (170g)
- 3 tbsp fresh ginger root, chopped (30g)
- 2 tbsp fresh turmeric root, chopped (20g)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (15 ml) or honey (optional)
- 1 tbsp warm water (15 ml)
Preparation
Carefully cut skins away from lemon and orange. Chop carrot into large chunks. Chop ginger and turmeric into small pieces. Using a juicer, add oranges, lemon, carrots, ginger and turmeric.
Mix together honey or maple syrup and warm water. Pour the sweet liquid into the juice to sweeten, mix well. Chill the juice in the fridge.
When ready to drink, divide the juice between small cups, with 1/2 cup per serving. Sip and enjoy.
