Simple Homemade Vegan Cashew Cheese
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw cashews
- 1/4-1/2 cup filtered water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp sea salt
- Pepper to taste
Preparation
Soak the raw cashews in water for at least 2 hours or more.
Drain the cashews.
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Blend until desired texture is achieved, adding more or less water as needed to reach a ricotta-like consistency.
Enjoy the cashew cheese.
