Vegan King Oyster Mushroom Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 king oyster mushroom
  • 1/4 cup tamari / soy sauce
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon granulated cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter

Preparation

  1. Cut off the cap of the mushroom and save it for another recipe

  2. Cut the mushroom stems into 1-inch pieces

  3. Heat butter and sauté mushrooms

  4. Mix all remaining ingredients and add to the mushrooms after they brown on both sides

  5. Cook on high heat until sauce is thicker and enjoy, and to add a fishy flavor, add cut up nori sheets to the sauce
