Merry Christmas Smoothie with Kale and Mango

Ingredients

Smoothie base

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • sprinkle ground cinnamon

Optional boosts

  • 2 dates
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds or chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

Preparation

  1. Blend the smoothie base ingredients until smooth.

  2. Add any optional boosts to the mixture and blend again if desired.

  3. Top the smoothie with fresh raspberries and cherries or strawberries.

  4. Note: Kale has a mild flavor; use up to 2 cups if you prefer a stronger taste.
