Loaded Buffalo Sweet Potato Fries
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon paprika, onion and garlic powder each
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 tablespoon melted vegan butter
Toppings
- Coconut bacon chips
- Chopped pickles or relish
- Parsley
- Chives
- Peppers
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 450°F or 225°C.
Cut the sweet potatoes into large, even sticks.
Rub the sweet potato sticks with avocado oil.
Sprinkle them with cornstarch and seasoning, using a sieve for an even layer.
Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 30 minutes, flipping after 20 minutes.
Mix the buffalo sauce and melted vegan butter.
Drizzle the sauce over the sweet potatoes.
Transfer the fries to the oven rack and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Top with desired toppings and enjoy.
