Homemade Chickpea Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2-3 tablespoons garlic
  • Half a lemon
  • Cumin
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 tsps water

Preparation

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas

  2. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon

  3. In a food processor or blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth

  4. Adjust seasoning and add water if needed for desired consistency
