Raw Vegan No Tuna Salad
Ingredients
- 2 cups almonds or cashews
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 1/2 cups celery
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1/4 cup shallot or scallion
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons kelp powder and/or dulse
- 2-3 sheets of dried seaweed
- sea salt to taste
Preparation
Soak almonds 8-12 hours, drain, rinse and drain again.
Place almonds and onions through the heavy-duty juicer or blend and drain liquid out.
Place mixture in a large bowl, add celery, parsley, shallots, lemon juice, kelp, dulse or sea salt and stir thoroughly.
