Maxi Dumplings with Spicy Ragout Filling

Ingredients

Dough

  • 250 g All-purpose flour
  • 2 dl water

Filling

  • 250 g vegan crumbles/minced veggie meat alternative
  • 1 onion (minced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 carrots (minced)
  • 1 can Italian pelati
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbs Chili

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil, add the onion, garlic, and carrots, and cook until golden.

  2. Stir in the meat alternative and sauté for 10 minutes. Add the pelati, tomato paste, and chili spice, reduce the heat to medium, and simmer for 1 hour.

  3. Place the flour and water in a food processor and process until a smooth dough forms.

  4. Roll out the dough to 2 mm thick, then cut out circles with a 2-inch diameter.

  5. Place 1 tablespoon of ragout on each circle, form the dumplings, then steam for 20 minutes and serve with chili sauce.
