Homemade Oatmilk with Organic Rolled Oats
Ingredients
- 1 cup of organic rolled oats
- 6 1/2 cups of cold filtered water (1/2 cup less for thicker milk)
- 1 pinch of Himalayan salt
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a large clean bowl and soak overnight covered with a cloth.
Use a blender or stick blender to blend the ingredients thoroughly for about 2 minutes.
Strain the milk through a fine sieve or muslin cloth into a bowl.
Store in a clean glass jar in the fridge. It will keep for several days.
Enhancements
Add cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, or date syrup to sweeten it, or enjoy plain.
