Creamy Non-Dairy Fruit Dip for Snacking
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of sea salt
Preparation
Soak 1/2 cup raw cashews in 1/2 cup hot water for 30 minutes.
Drain the cashews.
Puree the drained cashews in a blender with 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
Serve with freshly sliced fruit such as apples or pears.
It can also be drizzled over oatmeal or pancakes for added flavor.
