Creamy Non-Dairy Fruit Dip for Snacking

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Soak 1/2 cup raw cashews in 1/2 cup hot water for 30 minutes.

  2. Drain the cashews.

  3. Puree the drained cashews in a blender with 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.

  4. Serve with freshly sliced fruit such as apples or pears.

  5. It can also be drizzled over oatmeal or pancakes for added flavor.
