Raw Vegan Taco Meat Substitute
Ingredients
- 1 cup walnuts (soaked overnight and drained)
- 1/2 tablespoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- pinch of cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon (or more) garlic powder to taste
- 1 tablespoon organic soy sauce - tamari (gluten free) or nama shoyu
- 4 scallions (or chives)
Preparation
Pulse the nuts in a food processor until chunky.
Pour ground nuts into a mixing bowl.
Add the spices and mix until thoroughly combined.
Pour in tamari or nama shoyu and scallions and mix together.
